Mauritian honey, from the hive to the jar

The guide is organised in five independent chapters. Read them in order or start with whichever interests you most.

5. Beekeeping — the Apis mellifera unicolor subspecies, sanitary challenges, and our practices.

A blog stacks up in time. A guide is updated. The pages below are evergreen: each has a last-revised date and is corrected whenever we learn something new or a better source becomes available. If you spot an error, please write to contact@miel.mu.
